2010 Bob Brett Visit (posted on June 17, 2010)

On June 10, 2010, internationally renowned tennis coach Bob Brett stopped in on the South End Tennis Club while visiting Halifax on behalf of Tennis Canada. Bob Brett is a very well known tennis coach around the world having worked with the likes of Boris Becker, Goran Ivanisevic, and currently Marin Cilic.

During the day at the South End, Bob worked alongside Christophe Lambert (Senior Director of the ATA) and Ted Misztela and Jamie Power (co-owners of Headstart Tennis) with many of the top provincially ranked juniors.

2010 Open House and Everyday Champions Event (posted on May 13, 2010)

On Saturday, May 22, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. the South End will be holding its 2010 Open House and Everyday Champions Event. Everyday Champions is a national program promoting tennis and the consumption of milk products as a part of a healthy lifestyle.

There will be:

• Refreshments
• Fun events with prizes run by the South End coaching staff
• Information about Team Tennis
• Promotional give-aways

This event is open to the general public. Everyone is welcome!
